Hataw’s vision is to see a more unified & empowered Filipino -American community through the promotion of Filipino - American talents in entertainment. Its mission is to utilize television & entertainment as a catalyst to promote Filipino – American talents in an effort to unify & empower the Filipino – American community. The inspiration of the investors in founding this program is to create a show that will help uplift the image of the Filipino and strengthen the Filipino-American voice in the community and society through the exposure of their talents. 

     Hataw Pinoy Chicago is a show like no other!  It offers various types of entertainment ranging from live interviews, great singing, energetic dancing and comedic sketches.  Most importantly, it showcases local talented Filipino-American hosts, singers, actors, musicians and dancers. With segments like “Friendster of the Week”, “Tagalog Phrase of the Week”, “Familia de Lirio”, “Hataw Kids Laboratory”, “Ek-stra, Ek-stra!”, “Fashion Tips from Ting-kerbell”, its feature stories and interviews, song and dance numbers, the show has gained a loyal following among viewers. They have welcomed the show into their homes every Sunday afternoon and called it their very own. The show is aired every Sunday over WOCH-A Channel 41 from 1to 2 every Sunday afternoon.
